About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Back End Developer to join their dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and scaling distributed backend services and modern web applications. You will take ownership of end-to-end delivery, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust backend systems using Typescript, Node.js, and Express.js.
- Develop and maintain APIs and microservices that support front-end applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Typescript, Node.js, Express.js, and NestJS.
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly GCP.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with modern web technologies and frameworks, including React.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in back end development.
