About this role
The team is seeking a Back End Developer to join their dynamic team in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of core modules on the company’s enterprise SaaS platform. This role focuses primarily on backend APIs, database architecture, and background services, with opportunities for full-stack involvement when necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build server-side architecture, including APIs and data models.
- Develop and maintain robust backend services and applications.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues in the backend systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Node.js and experience with backend development frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems and architecture.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
- Understanding of version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in backend development.
