About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Azure SQL Developer to join their Global Loans domain team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the design and delivery of the LoanIQ database implementation. You will lead the technical implementation and mentor other developers while leveraging modern AI-assisted development tools and cloud-native patterns to enhance productivity, code quality, scalability, and delivery speed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of the LoanIQ database.
- Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools to improve efficiency.
- Ensure seamless integration with upstream and downstream systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define database requirements.
- Monitor and optimize database performance and scalability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure SQL Database and related technologies.
- Proficiency in database design, development, and optimization.
- Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and patterns.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in database development, with at least 3 years focused on Azure SQL.
