About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Cloud Project Engineer with a strong background in Azure cloud migrations and related technologies. This role will focus on managing and executing cloud projects, ensuring successful deployment and integration of Azure services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Azure cloud migration projects, ensuring seamless transitions for clients.
- Manage database migrations and IaaS deployments effectively.
- Set up and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.
- Implement disaster recovery solutions using Azure Site Recovery (ASR).
- Deploy and configure Azure App Services, App Gateways, CDN, and Azure Front Door solutions.
- Design and implement end-to-end architecture, including understanding landing zones.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide guidance on best practices.
- Potentially cross-skill in other cloud services such as AWS or GCP as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in cloud engineering, specifically with Azure.
- Strong knowledge of Azure services and cloud architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Azure App Services and deployments.
- Familiarity with disaster recovery solutions and AVD setups.
- Understanding of IaaS and database migration processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
