About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with a strong focus on API development. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining data solutions on the Azure platform, ensuring seamless integration and performance of APIs that facilitate data access and manipulation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, and related technologies.
- Create and manage APIs for data retrieval and processing, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor and optimize data workflows and API performance for efficiency and reliability.
- Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance within Azure environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in Azure services, particularly Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Strong experience in API development using technologies such as RESTful services and GraphQL.
- Solid programming skills in languages like Python, C#, or Java.
- Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in data engineering and API development.
