About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer to join their team as a Data Platform Engineer focused on Cosmos FX MIS. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing database-centric solutions for a global FX risk data platform. You will work extensively with Oracle 19c, SQL, and ETL pipelines while contributing to the platform's modernization and Azure cloud migration. The ideal candidate will demonstrate ownership, collaboration, and a proactive approach to delivering scalable, high-performance data solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize database solutions for the FX risk data platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and implement data solutions.
- Migrate existing data processes to Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain ETL pipelines to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the data platform.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Oracle 19c and SQL.
- Strong knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
