About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Azure Data Architect to join their team. The ideal candidate will have substantial hands-on expertise in delivering Azure Synapse Analytics to Microsoft Fabric migration projects. This role involves direct involvement in migration planning, execution, validation, performance tuning, cutover, and post-migration optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end migration process from Azure Synapse Analytics to Microsoft Fabric.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow.
- Develop and implement migration strategies, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of data processes post-migration.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the migration lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Azure Data services, particularly Azure Synapse Analytics and Microsoft Fabric.
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles and best practices.
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in data architecture and migration projects.
