About this role
The team is seeking a skilled Azure API Management Architect to lead the design and implementation of API solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure API Management and a deep understanding of the complete flow from on-premises systems to Azure services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure hybrid connectivity solutions.
- Manage the integration of Azure API Management with Azure Functions and AKS.
- Oversee the connection to SAP and other enterprise systems.
- Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure optimal API performance.
- Ensure high availability and load balancing for API services.
- Establish rate-limit alerting and API security protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Azure API Management (APIM).
- Strong knowledge of Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Experience with on-premises connectivity solutions.
- Familiarity with high availability (HA) and load balancing techniques.
- Expertise in monitoring tools and alerting mechanisms.
- Understanding of API security best practices.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in API architecture and management, with a focus on Azure technologies.
