About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Azure Cloud PaaS Administrator to join their team. In this role, you will collaborate with application and engineering teams to troubleshoot cloud resource issues, enhance solutions, and ensure compliance with security policies. You will be responsible for managing cloud environments, automating infrastructure tasks, handling disaster recovery, and overseeing Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters while documenting key IT processes and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application teams to troubleshoot and resolve cloud resource issues.
- Manage and maintain Azure cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Automate infrastructure tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
- Handle disaster recovery planning and execution for critical cloud services.
- Oversee and manage AKS clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Document key IT processes, procedures, and performance metrics for compliance and improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with Azure cloud services and PaaS solutions.
- Proficient in managing AKS and related container orchestration technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
- Experience in automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI).
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in Azure administration or a related field.
