About this role
The team is seeking an experienced AWS Windows Infra Engineer to join their team. This role involves managing and optimizing Windows Server environments both on-premises and in the AWS cloud.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments in on-premises and AWS cloud settings.
- Manage Active Directory, DNS, Group Policies, file shares, and ensure timely Windows updates and patching.
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability and reliability of Windows workloads.
- Plan, execute, and support the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS using AWS Application Migration Services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of cloud services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Windows Server administration and management.
- Proficiency in AWS services and cloud operations.
- Experience with Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy management.
- Familiarity with AWS Application Migration Services and cloud migration strategies.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Windows Server and AWS environments.
