About this role
The team is seeking an experienced AWS Engineer to be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications and database solutions on AWS. This role requires strong hands-on experience across cloud engineering, application development, database administration, DevOps automation, security controls, and production support while ensuring compliance with enterprise standards and customer delivery expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-native applications and microservices.
- Implement and manage AWS services to support application architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define application requirements and specifications.
- Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using DevOps tools.
- Monitor and optimize application performance and reliability.
- Ensure security best practices are followed in all deployments.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and more.
- Strong experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Experience with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools like Jenkins or GitLab.
- Understanding of security protocols and compliance frameworks.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in cloud engineering and application development.
