About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer with strong AWS DevOps expertise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and supporting cloud-native backend applications while managing a small AWS environment, CI/CD pipelines, and operational support activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop scalable Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes.
- Monitor and maintain AWS environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Document development processes, code changes, and operational procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot.
- Proficiency in AWS services and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with database technologies, both SQL and NoSQL.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in Java backend development and AWS DevOps practices.
