About this role
The team is seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Administrator to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, particularly with Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role involves ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of cloud-based applications and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Implement and monitor cloud solutions using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
- Develop automation scripts using Python and Shell/Bash to streamline processes.
- Oversee web and application servers, including Apache, Tomcat, and Nginx.
- Collaborate with development teams to support application deployment and troubleshooting.
- Utilize SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB for database management and optimization.
- Stay updated on cloud technologies and best practices, including knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience with AWS cloud platform.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of web and application servers.
- Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python and Shell/Bash.
- Familiarity with SQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB databases.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
