The team is seeking an experienced AVP Platform Engineering to lead and innovate within their technology division. This role is pivotal in driving the development and implementation of robust platform solutions that enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of platform engineering solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define platform requirements and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Lead a team of engineers, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance platform capabilities and performance.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of platform services.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within scope.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in platform engineering or a related field, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Strong expertise in cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Experience with microservices architecture and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
