About this role
The team is seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of software applications. You will work closely with development teams to identify testing requirements and develop test plans that align with project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand application features and requirements.
- Execute test cases and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and design.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Mentor junior team members and share best practices in automation testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in a software development environment.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Experience with automation testing tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
