The team is seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join their dynamic team focused on a cutting-edge iXBRL solution. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of the product. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and create both automated and manual test scripts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze testing requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard tools.
- Perform manual testing to complement automated testing efforts.
- Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
- Continuously improve testing processes and frameworks to enhance efficiency.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in testing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in automation testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
