The team is looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer with a strong focus on API testing to join their dynamic quality assurance team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions through effective testing practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement test automation frameworks for API testing.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for RESTful APIs.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand API requirements and functionality.
- Analyze test results and report defects to ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation tools and processes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Deep understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with test automation frameworks like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and agile methodologies.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in software testing, with a specific focus on API testing.
