The team is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing processes, hands-on experience in automation frameworks, and a passion for ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement comprehensive test suites using a variety of testing tools, including Cucumber for behavior-driven development and Detox for testing React Native applications.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and create effective test strategies.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and improve software quality.
- Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and design.
- Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in automation testing tools and frameworks, particularly Cucumber and Detox.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in automation testing and software quality assurance.
