The team is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer / Systems Engineer specializing in Performance Testing to join their growing quality engineering team. This role is pivotal in enhancing the reliability and performance of software applications and IT systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting performance testing and certifying applications prior to their deployment in production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze system specifications to ensure comprehensive performance testing.
- Develop and execute performance test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions to improve application efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand application architecture and performance requirements.
- Monitor and report on application performance metrics and trends.
- Participate in root cause analysis of performance issues and assist in troubleshooting.
- Document testing processes and results for compliance and future reference.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in performance testing or a related role.
- Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar.
- Strong understanding of application performance monitoring and analysis.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
