About this role
The team is seeking an Associate Java Developer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and be well-versed in modern software engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Java applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Implement RESTful web services and ensure high performance and responsiveness.
- Utilize Redis, Kafka, and PostgreSQL or Oracle for data management and messaging.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum methodologies to enhance team productivity.
- Advocate for and implement Test Driven Development using frameworks such as Junit and Mockito.
- Foster a DevOps mindset and contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in Java development with a focus on Spring and Microservices.
- Proficiency in Go Lang, Redis, Kafka, and RESTful services.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with Test Driven Development principles and related testing frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
