About this role
The team is seeking a talented individual to join their IT team as an Associate Director - Applications Development. This role will be based in Gurgaon and is a hybrid position that requires working at least three days a week in the office.
As a Squad Lead Engineer, you will play a key role in the design, development, and delivery of high-quality enterprise software solutions. You will provide hands-on technical leadership while ensuring that engineering delivery is aligned with architectural standards and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the development of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs to improve application performance.
- Drive the architectural vision and technical direction of software projects.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in software development and application design.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience with modern frameworks and technologies like React, Angular, or Node.js.
- Proven experience in leading software development teams and projects.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
