The team is seeking an experienced Assistant Vice President – Data Service Layer AI Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and business acumen, focusing on the strategy, design, implementation, and delivery of enterprise data engineering, data integration, reporting, and analytics solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of data service layer strategies that align with business objectives.
- Oversee the design and implementation of data engineering frameworks and integration solutions.
- Manage reporting and analytics initiatives to drive business insights and decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of data services.
- Mentor and guide junior team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in data engineering, data integration, and analytics, with a focus on AI solutions.
- Strong knowledge of data processing frameworks and tools (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8-10 years of relevant experience in data services and engineering roles.
