About this role
The team is seeking an Assistant Technical Director - Pipeline to join their Production Technology department. In this role, you will assist the Pipeline Technical Directors in creating and supporting innovative tools and technology that empower artists to address complex challenges in the production of award-winning visual effects and feature animation for film and television.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Pipeline TDs to develop and enhance production tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the pipeline.
- Assist in the integration of new technologies and workflows.
- Provide support and training to artists on pipeline tools.
- Document processes and maintain clear communication with team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Python and experience with scripting languages.
- Familiarity with visual effects and animation production workflows.
- Understanding of software development principles and version control systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in a technical role within the visual effects or animation industry.
