The team is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Manager for State Government Affairs & LEA Relations. This role is crucial in managing relationships with state government entities and local education agencies, ensuring compliance and fostering partnerships that enhance the team operational capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with state government officials and local education agencies.
- Monitor and analyze state policies and regulations that impact the team operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align government relations strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare and present reports on government affairs and LEA relations to senior management.
- Advocate for the company’s interests in legislative and regulatory matters.
- Organize and participate in meetings, conferences, and events to promote the team initiatives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in government relations, public affairs, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of state government processes and education policy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex information and present it clearly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant CRM tools.
Experience:
- 5-8 years in government affairs, public policy, or related fields.
