About this role
The team is seeking an Assistant Manager - App Developer to join their mobile app engineering team. This role is essential for enhancing the delivery and production reliability of their mobile applications. The ideal candidate will focus on managing OTA (over-the-air) updates, troubleshooting releases, and providing critical support during high-volume periods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage OTA updates and troubleshoot app releases to ensure seamless deployment.
- Provide additional delivery capacity during peak times to meet project deadlines.
- Offer backup support for critical production issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Support end-to-end Firebase A/B testing to optimize app performance and user experience.
- Collaborate closely with the existing mobile team to enhance overall app functionality.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficient in React Native with a solid understanding of mobile app development.
- Experience with managing OTA updates and troubleshooting app releases.
- Familiarity with Firebase and A/B testing methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years in mobile app development, preferably with a focus on React Native.
