About this role
The team is seeking an experienced AS 400 Developer to join their remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in JD Edwards (JDE) running on IBM AS/400 / IBM i, as well as experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMi) and Logistics / Supply Chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, test, and support solutions involving JDE on AS/400 / IBM i and WMi.
- Develop and maintain interfaces between JDE and warehouse-management systems.
- Work with legacy IBM i components to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to JDE and warehouse management systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with JD Edwards (JDE) on IBM AS/400 / IBM i.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMi) and Logistics / Supply Chain processes.
- Familiarity with MIF and interface development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in AS 400 development and JD Edwards.
