About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Architect / Technical Team Lead specializing in DevOps and DevSecOps. In this role, you will lead a technical pod of full-stack DevOps/DevSecOps engineers while remaining hands-on with coding, architecture, and pipeline management. This player-coach position requires you to set the technical direction across the stack, conduct design and code reviews, unblock team challenges, and serve as the project manager for the engagement. You will be the single point of accountability for the deliverables of the pod.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers in best practices for DevOps and DevSecOps.
- Define and own end-to-end architecture across infrastructure and applications.
- Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high-quality outputs.
- Unblock team members and facilitate problem-solving.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on project goals and objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with DevOps and DevSecOps practices and tools.
- Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Solid understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Strong coding skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5-8 years in a technical leadership role within DevOps/DevSecOps environments.
