About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Architect - Design Assessment to enhance the security posture of cloud environments, specifically GCP and AWS. The successful candidate will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating risks while conducting thorough security assessments of cloud infrastructures and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the security posture of cloud environments by identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Conduct security assessments of GCP and AWS environments, focusing on both applications and infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cloud application architects, developers, system and network administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure secure cloud design practices.
- Review changes in application design, assess security controls, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Validate the implementation of security controls and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cloud security architecture, particularly with GCP and AWS.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in security assessment tools and methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or AWS Certified Security Specialty are a plus.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of experience in cloud security and architecture roles.
