About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Application Support professional with a focus on 3D CAD systems to join their team in Chennai. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and support of 3D CAD applications used in various projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for 3D CAD applications, troubleshooting issues and ensuring optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand their requirements and provide solutions that enhance productivity.
- Conduct training sessions for users to improve their proficiency with 3D CAD tools.
- Maintain documentation related to application configurations, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Monitor application performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Liaise with software vendors to resolve complex issues and request enhancements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with 3D CAD applications, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages relevant to CAD applications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in a similar role within a large-scale engineering or construction environment is preferred.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in application support, specifically in 3D CAD systems.
