About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Application Security - Web/Mobile API - Assistant Manager to enhance their application security initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive security assessments and managing security tools to protect web and mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Source Code Review (SCR) annually and on an ad-hoc basis as needed.
- Maintain and manage SCR tools, including user creation, deletion, and removal of dormant users.
- Conduct application security assessments for all in-scope internal and external web, Android, and iOS applications, ensuring compliance with security standards.
- Manage application security tools, overseeing user access and functionality.
- Collaborate with development teams to address security vulnerabilities and implement best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience in application security assessments for web and mobile platforms.
- Proficiency in Source Code Review processes and tools.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards.
- Knowledge of programming languages and development practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in application security, with a focus on web and mobile APIs.
