The team is seeking an experienced Application Security Testing Engineer with a strong focus on code review. This role involves understanding application architecture, identifying vulnerabilities, and conducting thorough control analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for determining the likelihood and impact of risks, as well as providing risk prioritization along with recommendations and documentation of solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze application architecture to identify potential security vulnerabilities.
- Conduct likelihood determination and impact analysis for identified risks.
- Provide comprehensive risk prioritization and document solutions.
- Infer business risks posed by weaknesses identified during assessments.
- Review and comprehend complex applications by analyzing code and application design.
- Collaborate with development teams to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in application security testing and code review.
- Strong understanding of application architecture and security principles.
- Proficiency in identifying vulnerabilities and conducting risk assessments.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with security tools and frameworks.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in application security or related fields.
