The team is seeking an experienced Application Security Analyst to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of applications throughout their lifecycle. This role involves identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and collaborating with development teams to enhance security practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing on applications.
- Analyze application architecture and identify potential security risks.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security best practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents related to applications.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and documentation.
- Provide training and guidance to developers on secure coding practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of application security principles and practices.
- Experience with security tools such as static and dynamic analysis tools.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Understanding of web application vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in application security or a related field.
