About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Application Lead / Custom Software Engineer with a strong background in Spring Boot to join their team in Pune. This role involves leading the design and development of scalable applications while acting as a subject matter expert and primary technical point of contact.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and configuration of scalable applications using Spring Boot.
- Collaborate with multiple teams to define and implement application architecture and best practices.
- Act as a technical mentor and guide for junior developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards and practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing solutions and recommendations.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Spring Boot and related technologies.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with database management systems, preferably SQL and NoSQL.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 6-8 years of relevant experience in software development and application design.
