About this role
The team is an early-stage venture focused on building a distribution and application engineering partnership for a global industrial robot manufacturer. They specialize in 4-axis palletizing robots and 6-axis multi-joint handling robots, operating from Tirupur, a key area for India's knitwear and textile exports.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with clients to understand their automation needs and provide tailored robotic solutions.
- Designing, programming, and testing robotic applications to ensure optimal performance.
- Providing technical support and training to clients on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems.
- Conducting on-site installations and troubleshooting any issues that arise during implementation.
- Working closely with the engineering team to develop new applications and improve existing ones.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in robotic programming languages and software (e.g., ROS, C++, Python).
- Experience with industrial robotics, particularly in palletizing and multi-joint handling applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills to liaise with clients and team members effectively.
Experience required: 3-5 years in application engineering or a related field, preferably within the robotics or automation industry.
