Application Engineer - III-Node.js Fullstack& mean stack developer (India)

The team is seeking an experienced Application Engineer - III specializing in Node.js and Fullstack development, particularly with the MEAN stack. This role is pivotal in delivering advanced system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases, while ensuring high performance and security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide senior-level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of applications and databases, integrating third-party products.
• Translate technical specifications into code for complex new projects and enhancements for internal clients. Write programs, develop code, test artifacts, and produce reports.
• Lead backend optimization efforts, ensuring high performance, scalability, and responsiveness under varying workloads.
• Spearhead the integration of multiple data sources, APIs, and services to streamline data flow and improve overall system efficiency.
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of detailed backend documentation for cross-functional teams.
• Advocate for and implement best practices for security, data protection, and backend resilience, aligning with enterprise-grade standards.
• Collaborate with front-end teams to design backend interfaces that support seamless user experiences.
• Elevate code into development, test, and production environments on schedule, providing follow-up production support.
• Train and mentor less experienced staff and resolve elevated issues.
• Participate in design, code, and test inspections throughout the lifecycle to identify issues.
• Understand client business functions and technology needs, interfacing with cross-functional team members.
• Comply with Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures, ensuring deliverables meet requirements.
• Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, system integration, database design, and back-end architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or a Master’s degree/Diploma in Computer Science.
• Expertise in server-side development, system integration, and API management, with strong knowledge of database design and optimization.
• Strong experience in developing scalable front-end applications using React/Preact.
• Hands-on experience in Node.js and Express.js for backend and full-stack development.
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, GraphQL, and API development, with experience building cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Strong understanding of Micro Front-End architecture and modern web application development.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
