About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating customer drawings and specifications to provide tailored solutions using standard products or engineered-to-order (ETO) options, ensuring compliance with NEC or IEC/IECEx standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer requirements and technical specifications to identify suitable solutions.
- Prepare comprehensive technical and commercial offers based on customer needs, specifications, and data sheets.
- Work with a variety of electrical equipment, including panel boards, switch racks, enclosed circuit breakers, motor starters, local control stations, and junction boxes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in application engineering, particularly with explosion-proof or hazardous area electrical equipment.
- Strong understanding of NEC and IEC/IECEx standards.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and team members.
