About this role
The team is seeking an Application Development & Support Specialist to join their Digital organization. This individual contributor role focuses on the development and maintenance of an enterprise Shopify eCommerce platform. The ideal candidate will execute development tasks across both frontend and backend Shopify customization, assist with integration troubleshooting, and contribute to feature delivery under the guidance of the Tech Lead.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain custom applications on the Shopify platform.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve integration issues.
- Assist in the troubleshooting of application performance and functionality.
- Contribute to feature delivery by implementing new functionalities and enhancements.
- Support testing and quality assurance processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Shopify development, including Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with backend development and API integrations.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with eCommerce best practices and trends.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in application development, preferably in eCommerce environments.
