About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Android Platform Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Android development, particularly in the areas of framework, services, HAL, and BSP.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Android platform components, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Implement and optimize Android Framework API and CAR Framework usage.
- Work on AIDL/HIDL and HAL services implementation to enhance system capabilities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address compatibility issues and ensure compliance with CTS and VTS requirements.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5-8 years of experience in Android development, specifically with Android platform engineering.
- Proficient in Android Framework, Services, HAL, and BSP.
- Strong understanding of AIDL/HIDL and HAL services.
- Familiarity with CTS, VTS requirements, and compatibility issue analysis is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
