About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled Android Automotive Developer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge in-car infotainment systems. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Android HAL and Framework internals to build robust and innovative features. You will have hands-on experience in Audio HAL and Android Connectivity, playing a crucial role in enhancing the user experience in automotive environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance features for Android Automotive OS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to the Android Automotive platform.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of applications.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C, C++, Java, and/or Kotlin.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies related to automotive software development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in C, C++, Java, and/or Kotlin.
- Strong understanding of Android HAL and Framework internals.
- Hands-on experience with Audio HAL and Android Connectivity.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with automotive standards and protocols is a plus.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Android development, specifically in automotive applications.
