The team is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their team in Bengaluru, India. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their goals and identify data-driven strategies to achieve those goals. This role involves designing data modeling processes, creating algorithms, and developing predictive models to extract insights that drive business productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain the dbt transformation layer (staging → intermediate → marts) with dimensional modeling.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into data solutions.
- Develop and optimize data pipelines to ensure efficient data flow and accessibility.
- Create and maintain documentation for data models and processes.
- Analyze data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
- Implement best practices for data governance and quality assurance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data warehousing solutions.
- Familiarity with dbt or similar data transformation tools.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a related field.
