About this role
The team is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager in Information Security to oversee and enhance their security posture. The ideal candidate will manage Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) processes, ensuring timely execution and resolution of identified vulnerabilities across both infrastructure and application environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the scheduling and execution of VAPT across the organization’s IT landscape.
- Collaborate with developers and testers to mitigate IT technical risks effectively.
- Report progress and findings to management regularly.
- Assess and approve software release requests based on security compliance.
- Continuously monitor for vulnerabilities in applications, systems, and cloud environments.
- Conduct periodic application security assessments and audits.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in information security, with a focus on VAPT.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in security testing tools and methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
