About this role

The team is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineering Manager to lead the development and enhancement of their machine-learning platform, which plays a crucial role in screening and classifying media content at scale. This platform has been in production since 2019 and is evolving to incorporate large-language models and generative AI pipelines on AWS.

In this role, you will:

  • Take technical ownership of the AI/ML platform and its ongoing development.
  • Lead a team of engineers and data scientists in designing, implementing, and optimizing machine-learning models.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into existing systems and workflows.
  • Drive innovation by exploring and implementing cutting-edge AI technologies and methodologies.
  • Ensure the reliability and scalability of the machine-learning infrastructure on AWS.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong experience in AI/ML engineering, with a focus on large-language models and generative AI.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and familiarity with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS, and knowledge of data engineering practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills and the ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for advancing AI technologies.

Experience required: 5-8 years in AI/ML engineering or a related field.
