About this role
Our client is seeking a part-time / contract AI Full Stack Software Engineer to evaluate and enhance an existing AI packaging design platform. This platform is live and partially developed, and we are looking for a long-term technical partner who can contribute to its success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review the existing codebase and system architecture.
- Assess code quality, technical risks, and identify areas for refactoring.
- Develop and optimize AI-powered packaging design features.
- Integrate OpenAI APIs and other AI services into the platform.
- Support ongoing platform development, maintenance, and technical planning.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in React and Next.js.
- Strong experience with Python.
- Familiarity with OpenAI API and AI application development.
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Proven track record in full-stack development and ownership of complete software projects.
Experience:
- A minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience in software engineering and AI applications.
