About this role
The team is seeking an experienced AEM Backend Developer to join their digital platforms team. The ideal candidate will possess strong backend development skills in Java (primary) and/or Python, with a proven track record in designing and building scalable, maintainable Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions. This role will focus on implementing backend logic, custom workflows, integrations, and supporting content management features.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain AEM-based applications and solutions.
- Implement backend logic and custom workflows to enhance AEM functionality.
- Integrate AEM with other systems and services to ensure seamless data flow.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to create cohesive and efficient applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AEM performance and functionality.
- Stay updated with AEM best practices and emerging technologies to improve development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and/or Python.
- Extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in backend development, with a focus on AEM solutions.
