About this role
The team is seeking a highly skilled Ab Initio Developer to join their data engineering team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ETL development, data integration, and performance optimization using Ab Initio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and optimize ETL processes using Ab Initio's Graphical Development Environment (GDE) to ensure data accuracy and availability.
- Build, maintain, and optimize data workflows to enable seamless data integration across various sources and targets.
- Collaborate with data architects and other stakeholders to define data requirements and ensure effective data management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues in ETL processes to enhance data processing efficiency.
- Document ETL processes, data flows, and system configurations for future reference and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Ab Initio, including GDE, EME, and other components.
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts and best practices.
- Experience with data modeling and database technologies such as SQL, Oracle, or similar.
- Familiarity with data quality tools and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience:
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in ETL development and data integration.
