About this role
Join our client as an SAP ABAP ACM Developer on a contract basis, where you will be part of a dedicated global team of developers working on new SAP S/4 technologies. This role involves co-engineering and enhancing SAP's ACM module, contributing to various aspects of development and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze requirements, design solutions, and develop new features.
- Perform debugging, code reviews, unit testing, and documentation.
- Collaborate effectively with Business Analysts, Technical Analysts, and business users to understand enterprise solutions.
- Work with multiple teams, both offshore and onsite, to ensure smooth project execution and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of strong experience in SAP ABAP Development, with at least 2 years focused on SAP ACM development and frameworks.
- Experience in at least 1 full life-cycle SAP implementation, including post go-live support.
- Proficiency in ECC SAP ACM 3.0/higher version or S/4 1909 or higher SAP ACM 4.0 SP01.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with OO ABAP, ABAP CDS Views, BRF+, BADIs, and Proxy classes for inbound and outbound interfaces.
- Hands-on experience with Gateway Odata services, including performance analysis and troubleshooting for ACM Fiori Apps.
- Familiarity with Junction Functions, OF framework, and troubleshooting SAP standard ACM functionalities.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting issues related to locks, SLG1 logs, memory, DB updates, queues, and background jobs for ACM functionalities.
- Overview knowledge of ACM-TM Integration and process flows with other modules (SD, FI, MM).
Desired Technologies and Skills:
- Exposure to AMDP.
- Experience in analyzing standard SAP code and implementing OSS Notes.
- Ability to troubleshoot backend ABAP code of FIORI Apps.
- Experience integrating REST and SOAP APIs into ACM.
Experience Level:
Candidates should have 5-8 years of relevant experience in SAP ABAP and ACM development.
