About this role
A well-built website needs more than good design. It should load smoothly, work across devices and make it easy for users to find what they need. We’re looking for a Web Developer in New Delhi who can help build, maintain and improve websites while contributing to projects that support business and user needs.
This role offers the chance to work on practical web development tasks, from implementing new features to troubleshooting issues and improving existing pages. We’re open to candidates who are building their professional experience as well as developers who already have a solid foundation in web technologies.
Development Responsibilities
- Build and maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Develop website features based on project requirements and design specifications
- Ensure pages function correctly across different browsers, screen sizes and devices
- Work with APIs and backend services to support website functionality
- Identify bugs, troubleshoot technical issues and implement fixes
- Improve website performance, loading speed and overall usability
- Update existing pages, components and website content as required
- Test new features before deployment and help maintain code quality
- Collaborate with designers and other team members to deliver project requirements
- Keep development work organised through version control tools such as Git
Skills and Technical Knowledge
The ideal candidate will have a practical understanding of web technologies and an interest in building reliable digital experiences.
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Familiarity with responsive design and modern web development practices
- Experience with React, Angular or another JavaScript framework is beneficial
- Understanding of REST APIs and client-server communication
- Basic knowledge of backend development or databases is an advantage
- Familiarity with Git and common development workflows
- Strong debugging, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- A willingness to learn new tools and adapt to changing project requirements
A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field is preferred, although relevant project work and practical skills are also valuable.
