**About the Role:** We are looking for an experienced Sr. QA Engineer or QA Lead who can take ownership of quality across our products and projects. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in both manual and automation testing, with solid expertise in Playwright, along with proven experience leading and mentoring a team of QA Test Engineers.

This role is suited for someone who can balance hands-on testing, automation, team leadership, and overall QA ownership.

  • Define and track QA metrics, test coverage, defect trends, and overall product quality.
  • Identify risks and quality gaps early and proactively communicate them to stakeholders.
  • Establish and continuously improve QA processes, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Support the team in troubleshooting complex testing and automation challenges.

  • Experience in writing effective test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  • Strong understanding of defect lifecycle and bug tracking.
  • Experience testing web applications and end-to-end user journeys.
  • Good understanding of API testing and tools such as Postman.
  • Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to mentor, guide, and build a strong QA team.

**Good to Have**

  • Experience building or improving automation frameworks using Playwright.
  • Experience with Page Object Model (POM) and reusable automation frameworks.
  • Experience with cross-browser and responsive testing.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, ClickUp, or similar project/defect management platforms.

**What You'll Bring**

We're looking for someone who doesn't see QA as just finding bugs at the end of development. You should be someone who can build a strong QA culture, improve processes, guide the team, increase automation, and work closely with development and project teams to ensure quality is built from the start.
