Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Python Developer – Backend with strong programming fundamentals, SQL expertise, and hands-on experience in backend development and data engineering. The ideal candidate should have excellent debugging and problem-solving skills and be comfortable working with existing codebases and building scalable backend solutions.
**Note:** Candidates based in Mohali, Chandigarh, or Delhi are welcome to apply. Candidates must be willing to work from the office in Mohali.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize backend applications using Python.
- Write efficient SQL queries and work with relational databases.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in existing codebases.
- Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and data processing workflows.
- Identify performance bottlenecks and improve application efficiency.
- Contribute to scalable and reliable backend system architecture.
- Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
- Maintain code quality and follow software development best practices.
- Work with data pipelines, ETL processes, and database optimization as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL and databases.
- Solid understanding of programming fundamentals and backend development.
- Experience in debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
- Ability to understand, maintain, and improve existing codebases.
- Knowledge of scalable backend systems and data engineering concepts.
- Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
