About this role
We are looking for an experienced **Specialist Java API AWS Engineer** with strong backend development skills and hands-on experience in Java, API development, and AWS cloud services. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud-based applications.
Candidates must currently be based in **Delhi NCR**, be available to work on-site in Gurugram, and have previous experience working with a multinational company (MNC).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java.
- Design, develop, and optimise REST APIs and backend services.
- Build and maintain cloud-based solutions using AWS services, including S3, Lambda, and Amazon Bedrock.
- Work with DynamoDB and other database technologies to design and optimise queries and data models.
- Implement secure, scalable, and reliable cloud application architectures.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and improve application performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Contribute to code reviews, technical discussions, and mentoring junior engineers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 5–7 years of backend software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in Java and API development.
- Practical experience with AWS services, particularly S3, Lambda, and Amazon Bedrock.
- Good knowledge of DynamoDB or other database technologies.
- Understanding of microservices, serverless architecture, and cloud-based application development.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Previous MNC experience is mandatory.
- Must be based in Delhi NCR and willing to work on-site in Gurugram.
Preferred Skills
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
- AWS certifications.
- Experience mentoring junior developers or leading small technical initiatives.
